Its normal for bp too go high or low either morning or late at noon.
This is due to many reasons such as your body is still adjusting to meds.. But please inform your Dr too.
Medicine combine with lifestyle modification will do huge help in lowering bp.
Some things you can do:
Dash diet
Avoid too much stress and worries
Small daily walks
Meditation /Yoga exercises
Listening to peaceful music . It helps calm our system
Try to decrease caffeine intake. For some people, caffeine causes bp spike.. I'm sensitive to caffeine esp coffee, so I decided to stop early morning coffee. Try decaf or tea.
I have had T for 45+ years. It is the constant high pitch ringing. I haven't found the cure yet but I still have hope. I have music playing almost constantly. That way I listen to the music instead of the ringing which is usually louded than a soft radio.

As I stated I post on the T., forum, and get great support over there.
Noted to them, I have stated I have had several trials and tributlations lately, some personal, I care for an elerly disabled mother, and employment issues, since NYS budget cuts, I got laid off, and my husband did from GM, then started with just slight HBP about a year ago, then after a upset losing my dogie afer 17 years a month ago, experienced a sudden unset of Tinnitus, which I still have.
I do have a wonderful daughter, 26, a son in law, and grandson, one years old and my daughter is expecting again.
I am married too, and have many good fortunes, but my husband is getting upset with me, do to my behavior the past few months with my anxiety over medical issues, and fears of taking medication, so not much support from him.
I went to the Doctor, diagnosed with extreme anxiety, and I have been seeing a therapist, I am a teacher's assistant presently, but have not worked due to my anxiety, and caring for an elderly disable mother as well.
My HBP reading in at the doctors as I said is ALWAYS higher about 5 points or more, like 165/100.
The doctor ordered tests, and his main concern was the BP., so her ordered Hidrochlorothiazine, and xanax.
I feared taking the Hidrochlorothiazine and am phobic about all medications, side effects, or having a severe allergic reaction after taking the first pill. I did have a few allergic reactions to penicillin as a child, but have exagerated fears now.
I do see a therapist, and I took my first xanax yesterday, I was so anxious.
At any rate, I went back to my doctor, his and saw his assistant Thursday, my BP was high of course.
She was mad that I did not take the medication, then changed my medication to Lisinopril, from the Hidrochlorothiaide. Also reporting to me that I also have very high cholestrol, and gave me a script for Crestol, and very low in Vit D, and gave me a once a month script for D...YIKES, then adding to that said my urine test showed microscopic Hemantoma, OH MY!
So now she is sending me off to a urologist, but telling me not to worry, that my main worry should be my HBP~
I told her my BP often reads normal or below, at home. But she was very defensive and said, "Then your BP machine must not be accurate, this one is." That upset me, due to my BP honestly is normal at times at home, and I just thought she should no. She dis not even aske when what time of day, or anything, she just goes by the readings there.
She instead of talking over the matter with me, assumed I was just stating my BP os ;pw at home, due to my fear of taking the meds. Then she said, after I take the new med., to moniter it at home...Well, why would she tell me to do that, when she just said my BP machine at home must not be accurate...Uggg., I am so fursterated, my regular doctor is nicer to me, but he is also mad at me, for not following his advice
He took that special test, it is like an EKG that reads heart, and BP, have any of you had that. He states it is very accurate, he has given it to me, and it reads my BP high, but said I have the "noraml" type of high BP, what ever that means. So, I wonder if that tests would show my BP, "noraml" if say, I was hooked up to it, during my "normal" readings at home, meaing it is turly not accurate. How could it be unless I was hooked up to it for 24 hours, opposed to 5 minutes in his office, when my BP is always high?
I realize I spike high always in the AM, too, at home, such as 150/90, never much over that. But it does goe down, almost always during the day, and evening even low...So that just makes me "Wonder" If those spikes in the morning, are dangerous, and if my BP is truly so so so dangerous as they keep telling me.
If so, I truly do need to brave up, and take medication, but I also just want it noted, that my BP is not always high.
After getting home I had HUGE anxiety, and looked up Lisinopril, and what folks said that took it...OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I just can't believe the terrible things said about that medication! I also suffer from anxiety, and migrianes, and this med sounds as if it can contibute to both, as well as very seious side effects! Is this true of this med, do any of you know????
So, needless to say, I have great fears,of many things now, and now needing to take 3 new meds on top of it all...Oh my!
I see a urologist tomorrow for that issue, a ENT, for my ringing ears, and the BP, what to do, what to do??? Now what can I do, I don't wantto take Lisinopril, it sound dreadful. I am just in a state of phobic, and real fears.
Please give me some advice on the BP, the new medication if possible too.
I did read that site, thanks, however my computer is acting up, I could not read all, I got booted of line, and plan to take my computer in next week.
