has anyone tried apple cider vinager to lower their bp?
bmason
Ummm. No is replying. I started today on the apple cider vinager (Im not stopping my meds). My blood pressure stays pretty normal except when I get anxious, and the it gets real high; Im hoping that the ACV will help keep it normal under stress and anxity. I'll let you know in a week if its working. Has anyone else tried it?

I took apple cider vinegar several years ago when it was recommended as helping weight loss and I thought at the time that it helped. Not sure though whether my blood pressure was affected. On the back of what you have written, I think I'll start taking again and will feed back on results. I'm always on the lookout for natural products. Good luck to you.

Did you notice a reduction in your bp? I also have ACV. I used to take it everyday but slacked off!

I really didn't take it faithfully, so Im not sure if it would have worked or not. I have been useing sesame seed oil and have noticed a differance in my bp.

Can you get it anywhere?

the apple cider vinager should be bought at a health food store because you want to make sure you get the one with "the Mother" in it. Braggs is a good brand. The sesame seed oil you can get at the grocery store. It is very bold in flavor so a little goes a long way in taste. If you buy the light it isn't so strong. I use it like a condiment on rice dishes. The best way I found to use it (so I eat it every day) is to make a small bread dip, using extra light olive oil, basmetic vinager, and sesame seed oil. It has a peanut taste to it.

I too have been trying to find natural ways. As far as I know my blood pressure is only high when anxiety and stress is high. I Have reviewed the medicine the dr wants me to take and quite honestly I am afraid to start it.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
