I've heard the stand-up beds are best - - trying to find one in the area (with coupons!). I'll probably just do the suggested time - whatever they recommend when I get there, just tell 'em I'm a newbie.

I would like to know from those who on here who do tan - approx how long it taken for them to see/feel any HS results or relief?

I've been tanning twice a week for 15 minutes. There's no method there- that's just how often it fits into my schedule. I started out tanning for 7-8 minutes at a time and then gradually increased the time. Overall, I have seen some improvement since tanning, but like everything else, it seems to work for a little whole and then not make a whole lot of difference. I tried going 3 times this week for some extra color.

Hi there, I take my daughter with Downs tanning 4 times a week for 5 minutes at a time...it seems to help; she still gets little pimples and stuff but nothing like what she was getting..... She has olive skin ( mexican-american) and I dont want to hurt the skin so we do 5 minutes every time...... we try to go every other day but this weekend they are closed Monday so hope it does not set her back. She should be okay...before she started tanning she was a mess...Now the lesions and the tunnels are drying up which is a good thing. I would not over do but I would go as often as you can.......it iis helping her but BY NO MEANS does it get rid of the condition...... but at least it helps.... she is usually a mess right before her period and with tanning she is not so horrible that time of the month....... I know a couple of other ladies that tan and one goes tanning 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a week and I know another lady that goes 4 minutes every day 5 days a week. It just depends how much time you have to go tan but it does seem to dry up the damned lesions ........ hope I answered your questions...Tangerinebear xo
