I was changing my dressings in the groin area and pulled like a mass out as well. There is now a crater the size of a pea where it was fine this morning. Should I go to ER? Or is this normal?

Been there myself. It's perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just keep it clean and bandaged and you'll heal.

Thanks so much gfpaperdoll and VoodooDoll. No one in my family that I know of has a gluten problem. I'm starting the paleo diet as soon as my antibiotics are done with.

Hi Charity, sounds like the core came out and that is great. Make sure to put a topical antibiotic like neosporin or bactroban on it for a while and you should do okay..... they take time to close by the way.
Paleo is doable.....Your energy levels will be alot better on paleo and
my daughter has been on antibiotics doing paleo..... you just eat meat or drink coconut milk when you take your meds...... Congrats on wanting to change your diet...... REALIZE it takes time to see results.... but they will come.......and it is a super learning experience as well....... again, take care of that bobo and you should be fine.
