Ive got this very painful spot on my pantyline and its absolutely driving me nuts. After about 3 days of suffering through it I decided to make a paste with turmeric yesterday and placed it on the spot overnight and did not remove until the end of day today. It still HASNT burst :( it has softened up quite a bit and after a hot shower it did start to drain a little blood but wasnt enough to really get the puss out. Im trying it again tonight and hoping like hell its done by the morning, the pain is so bad it makes me want to throw up!!! Anyone have success with turmeric paste in a short period of time? Did I not put enough on? Any suggestions would be helpful!

I have had great success with turmeric both orally & in paste form, When I use the paste I usually get results within 24-36 hours; but I also take 1000mg orally every night before bed. Over Thanksgiving week, I had a new monster come up in the gluteal fold. Thank goodness my mom was visiting because I could not manage to paste it on my own. It began to drain the next morning. Keep doing what you're doing; sometimes it takes the body a little while to work with the turmeric; but it is so worth it in the end. I've been taking it orally since May, and this is my 1st real troublesome outbreak. In fact, I kind of consider myself in a remission state. Good luck!

Yep...I agree w/StormRyan...for me, it works best when I make a paste and take it orally (600+ mgs). If they are at ripe and ready to burst....It usually happens overnight. Otherwise, it's in about 2 days.
I mix it with Emu Oil or Zinc cream to speed healing.

Sad to say Turmeric doesn't work for all, but it seems to work for most. Take much care!

Last night was attempt #2 with the turmeric paste and no results again but it is a little less painful. I have decided not to use it again tonight and see what happens tomorrow. I currently cannot ingest it due to pregnancy but hopefully it bursts or subsides soon!

Well the sucker finally burst tonight no thanks to turmeric! What did the trick was really hot shower, tea tree oil and polysporin...30 mins later it was show time! Thank god it burst! okay maybe this sounds a little weird and twisted but anyone else out there think that the moment a boil bursts and the feeling of instant relief you get is the best feeling in the world? Even better than "O"??? Lol

Yes happier now that I am mostly pain free. Having monster flares makes me realize that the other ones I have to deal with aren't that bad and I should try and live it up on the days that I am able!
