Hey everyone, just wanted to start off by saying hello to everyone. I've been a member to this group now for almost a couple of months now & wanted to say that I am so excited to have found a site that I can go to & be able to communicate with other people just like me. I can finally say that I am no longer alone & there are other people who know exactly how I feel.
I will try my best not to make this too, too long but there is just so much on my mind when it comes to this horrifying disease. I have been suffering from HS for about maybe six years or more & was just recently given the diagnosis maybe a couple of years ago. I can pretty much say that I have stage 3 & I have it in pretty much every place they say u can get it in for the most part. Yes, from the armpits down to my thighs. It all started on & under my breasts when i first started seeing weird sores, now like I said before it's in all the worse spots like my inner thighs, groin, armpits & inner bi-cep & the worst of all right now is in between & on my buttock. It's has been so severe there that I have been off work on disability for the past eight months. Yeah no fun at all.
Things have been so bad to the point to where I can hardly walk at times & just really hate to do anything day to day as I know u all can pretty much relate to that very much so. Like I said before I was going to try my best not to make this too, too long, but ooops I'm sorry. There's just always so much u can say about this crazy ass disease & how u suffer from it day to day. Like everyone else I have been tossed around from doctor to doctor with little to no help. But now I've even gotten to the point to where I've changed my primary care Dr. & even changed medical groups because I've just been suffering. Hopefully everything works out now, I have an appt. with a new Dermatologist tomorrow so I'm just looking forward to seeing how that goes, I'm praying for the best, we'll see, HOPEFULLY!!!!!!
Just wanted to say again that I am very excited to have found this group & I have really appreciated the support that everyone has for each other on here & I really look forward to staying in contact with everyone on here as much as possible.
