my left arm is healed

im so happy that my arm is healed i had surgery on it like last year its been healing from that long so i have no problem with that arm.no more and i,m cure so now im thinking about having suregy in my buttocks and thats goin to be difficult i just pray about it has anybody have done surgery in that area.

what surgery did you have? I am considering surgery for both arms and groin but everyone i have spoken to say it just comes back so to last a year is pretty amazing! i want what youve had! x

I just had surgery on my right arm- the big surgery (the removal the sweat glands plus grafting) and I know it's already made a big, big difference. I am having surgery on the left side hopefully in a few months once we are positive I am completely healed from this past surgery.

I am very!! lucky that underneath my arms is the only place I have it. My goal is to go into a treatment program that keeps this disease from spreading to the other areas of my body.

Congrats Matthew on your successful surgery!! It's really great to hear some positive surgery stories, so later down the road I know that it's not all horror stories with HS and surgery.
How was your healing after surgery, HS surgery looks like they do a lot I imagine healing must take forever.

i will be having surgery in the coming week with no grafts. The surgeon said he will open the affected area and sutures back. He wanted to do that one hand at a time. But i wanted to go for both hands once. Pls tell me how severe the pain is? How would be life during recovery? If someone has pictures pls post. That would be great help
