I just walked out of the hospital from yet another visit with my surgeon. I'm very happy to say that it was my last one. I was so happy I cried. I thanked him for everything he's done for me. By him just doing his job and being compassionate, he's given me my life back. I now have a sense of normalcy. I doubt he knows how grateful I am or how much I owe him or how much I meant it when I said I never wanted to see him again.
In the last ten years there hasn't been a day where I haven't been covered in bandages. I can finally take the pharmacy out of my purse and live a normal life again. I know there's a possibility that it might cone back but for now I can go back to being the person I was before all of this started. I've struggled with the surgery scars but I damn sure will take them over the HS running rampant. If it comes back, it comes back but right now I'm a very happy girl. I get to live my life again.

I had a hard time wording this. I hope you know what I am saying. He is a hero and people need to know what he has done for you. I am very happy for you. Doctors like this are hard to find.
