Hidradenitis suppurativa (hi-drad-uh-NIE-tis sup-yoo-ruh-TIE-vuh) is rare, long-term skin condition that features small, painful lumps under the skin. The disease manifests as clusters of chronic abscesses or boils, sometimes as large as baseballs, that are extremely painful to the touch and may persist for years with occasional to frequent periods of inflammation,...
I too have tried Zinc and Turmeric and it did nothing for me. Dr wants to put me on Humira but I really do not want to use it.
Just a little note to add on. Just came back from two weeks on hols. One week into the hol got a nice big, painful lump in groin, probably from swimming costume (bit tight top of legs, lol). Only took enough cinnamon with me for 2 tablets a day, so the little bugger of a lump just stayed there for the whole of the second week! Thankfully it didn't get bigger or open up (my belief is that the 2 tablets a day kept it under control). When I got home took a tablespoon of manuka honey twice a day for 3 days, upped my cinnamon to 2 tablets twice a day and the little bugger was gone in 5 days, yay! 2nd note for you all ........ something I also noted many years ago regarding things that cause flare ups for me personally ....... artificial sweeteners! If I drink diet drinks, or eat foods that have a lot of artificial sweetener in them or use any form of artificial sweetener I can guarantee I will get a flare up. Just something to think about. Good luck all. Michele xxx
I just read about Turmeric capsules and that it what I’m taking at this moment. I started taking them this past Friday so I can’t really give a review. I will defiantly keep manuka honey and cinnamon capsules next on my list. I say that bc I’ve read a lot about turmeric so we’ll see how this goes and if it’s another NONE WORKING METHOD I will defiantly try yours. Thank you for advise!
