Yes, It does heal eventually...although I can tell you, I am a very slow healer, quite different than the surgeon has ever seen in a patient before, he tells me I have "Weird Skin". LOL But it is safe to use day and night, I use it twice a day...No side effects either...My groin is finally closed, although I do get "paper cut" like openings on the top of my groin area to which I use the silver cream for...it always closes...He has talked about "Silver Nitrate Treatment" to close the wound that I have now, but I told him I'd rather stick to the Painless Silver Sulfa Cream, thanks very much!
