I take Turmeric in the morning with breakfast, I avoid eating anything rich in fat, as fattening foods tend to make my HS worse. I use a few creams, like Benzoyl Peroxide for my face & under arms, but beyond that nothing has worked for me. I have tried surgeries, all kinds of natural remedies, several dermatologists, doctors. In the end it was I who had to diagnosed myself...much like you, the doctors who I saw behaved as though they did not know what I had.
I'm sorry that you have to suffer like this, because of this disease. Right now I have a large cyst on my neck & it's very painful. At least you have a job; I lost mine because of HS. Another thing that seems to help me, is to keep my abscesses covered. Have you tried this? It's very difficult, if not impossible to do this sometimes, for instance, the boil I have on my neck right now I cannot bandage...nothing will stay on.
Best of luck.
