I feel you on that, when I read your post I immediately started laughing because I feel the exact same way(as far as hs is concerned). I'm in the house asleep by 10:30pm awaken at 12am by gunshots, them back to sleep I went. No social life, i've become a germaphobe. I don't use other peoples bathroom, and when I do go out I have to take bandages and my own toilet paper with me because I don't want no extra germs/bacterias around my sores/lesions. It's a lonely world for me, but I love music and it helps me to feel normal sometimes. Happy New Year to you and try to find something to take your mind off of things for a little while.

Sounds like a good time to have a little smoke if you know what I mean. Get your mind off of it....get into video games or something.

I hadn't seen this before..but I couldn't help but laugh myself. My shit hasn't stopped acting up since October, and to top it off, the plastic surgeon I went to see scared the Bejezzus out of me. He talked the whole time, seemed like he was trying to dazzle me with his expertise. Then after the visit they tried to shuffle me into a room to go ahead and schedule surgery. I sat in my hotel room New Years stressin on the breakouts, the surgeon, and the slowness of the guys rebuilding our house. So ariesgurl, you were definitely not the only one. Nothin like ringing in the New Year with a few new aliens, or one that wants to sit there and thump all night long on ya.

Feel your pain. I hope for the same this year. All my friends have joined gyms and tanning salons to get their body looking nice this year and I am just hoping I can wear clothes so I can go out in public. Just doesn't seem fair. I want to look and feel nice too. Well I guess now I just pray for days that I am not in total pain. I hope the best for all of for this year. Hope a freakin cure is found soon.

Happy New Year to you all. I understand how all of you are feeling. Last year was HS awful, and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I can 'control' it somehow this year. The end of this year was a trying one. I've lost two family members and got married in the last week and I've HS nightmares appearing everywhere. Hope to us all that we can take it one day at a time.

I was so hopeful...SOOOO VERY HOPEFUL, as my lesions were/felt flat....and for a moment...I thought....Hell Yeah, motherfucker...I've found the cure.....ahem...hummm...next day....bada bing...bada boom...3 new ones....BOOO YAY!!!

Fast forward to New Year's Eve Midnight>>> I celebrated 2012 by repurposing (sp) my diabetic dad's insulin trajection pen into a cyst-popper-opener. Works like a charm...Yay!...(there is something wrong with me....seriously....)
