Getting worse

I havent been on here in awhile because I have been so depressed. Awhile ago I posted if anyone knew how to close an open boil. Well the story was I have a boil in the fold of my back (im heavy) and it drained but now there is a hole. Well now the same thing is happening on the other side. I can get them to close but then the fluid has nowhere to go so it opens back up. When it is closed the pain is way worse then having it open. Doctors say lose weight but that doesnt happen overnight. I am so frustrated and my hubby just rubs me becuz he has no words. Im so totally at a loss and i just cry all the time. Any suggestions will help?

Sweetie trust I know what ur going through. U want to invest in some band aids. Sounds silly but it will help. Also, ask ur Dr about Dapsone. My dermatologist prescribed it. It heals ur holes quickly just drink.alot of water. Its nice to have ur hubby be there for u. Losing weight will help my hubby pushes me to lose weight, I hate it but he is right he goes with me so it's a little better. Keep ur head up.

besides the band aids I use anti bacterial dial I have wash cloth on a plastic shoe horn for areas i can't reach.

Hey Lady,

Been in the same situation. I totally agree with the bandaids comment. Get some and keep them covered so that the skin wont hurt when it rubbs and for some reason they burst quicker with the bandaid on.

Also losing weight will help but your right it wont happen over night. I have started a meal plan and ZUMBA and am currently down 8.6lbs since last Monday.

It is slow moving but I plan on sticking with it. I make baby steps everyday by making better food choices and eating smaller portions more often ( eat 6meals per/day).

Just make small goals and once you do those then increase your goals.

YOU CAN DO THIS! HS IS NOT GOING TO WIN!

Honey, depression and HS go hand in hand...try low carb meals and see if that helps with your HS; it will definately help you loose weight; Stay away from pastries, sugar, cakes, cookies, all of that stuff is terrible fpr HS...... know that we are here for you and you have a right to be depressed; there is nothing EASY about this damned disease...hang in there and hugs, Tangerinebear xo
