Fatigue?

I'm wondering how many of you with HS also have fatigue? I recently read that is can be an issue due to the infection, not necessarily due to depression.  Thanks for responding!

Hello, I'm newly diagnosed and all I can say is I am extremely tired ALL the time. I'm not sure if it's related to the HS or something else but Dr has not find other causes of fatigue.

Yes, I certainly have had fatigue with this to varying degrees the whole time I've had HS, and the severity of fatigue usually if not always seems to follow the severity of the HS.

My understanding is that we have some elevated cytokine levels that may promote depression and that may also be a possible consequence of infection.

Also, I've been following the CFS forum at DS because of this, and I noticed that many if not all of the biomarkers that CFS researcher Dr. Ron Davis and colleagues were looking at as possible means of CFS diagnosis may also be generalized signs of infection. It seems that fatigue may come with a variety of different infections.
