It was my consultant who suggested I start laser treatment and I had to see a different Dr to confirm my eligibility. My disease is very active and I currently have multiple open wounds that leak and this hasn't been a problem. It can be painful when the laser is close to an open sore but so much of my area is open that it's hard to avoid. However, I am able to complete a session with the help of a little ice. I haven't noticed an improvement regarding the HS but the area is easier to manage and dress.
