Coconut oil is great for anything and everything, but I don't think it has any antibacterial nor drawing properties. I use it for hemorrhoids, and it does well for the soothing, but not the swelling. I'd say, it can't hurt to try!! Moisturizer is your key word, here, so keep in mind it is an emollient, not a 'dryer.'
Good Luck, at least the boils will smell good :) I wish I could say I've been using it with great results, but I haven't tried it with the boils. I love it for cooking, tho :)

Yes, I have and with no results. Coconut oil is great for general skin health like dry skin and but I have to agree with Lisa it is more of a moisturizer then antibacterial treatment and GREAT for cooking! However, I am a big believer in you don't know until you try... just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you!
