Congratulations on your first baby! How exciting!!
I had 5 kids, boils with each one, the last one I had one on my nipple and I was breastfeeding and I had to pump that side, cuz I didn't want to poison the little guy ;)
It probably won't get any worse :) You might have an extra flare while the hormones settle back in...Are you breastfeeding? I did with all of mine and none of them gets boils. One gets cold sores, and one had a little trouble with acne, for a while. The youngest one got a really bad pimple under his arm one time, but I dosed it with glycolic acid and it didn't come back, and ...so far....he hasn't shown any signs of the HS, he is 16.
Don't let this ruin your labor and delivery and new baby joy!! It's just another life experience with HS, albeit an exciting one, but nothing to worry about extra...You'll have plenty to take your mind off of it, anyhow, really soon, and believe it or not, HS will finally take second place in your thoughts!! Yay :)
Good Luck!! Get to work on those breathing exercises!! Love LaMaze and water births, personally :)
