Has anyone had allergy testing recently? Did you do blood tests or skin pricks or something else? Did you learn anything that helped you deal with HA? Do you have the sublingual drops?
I was doing (relatively) OK until I ate a lot of fresh corn! I even asked my DH: "Is it possible something this fresh, sweet, and organic could be BAD for me?" Bingo, a huge horrible lump almost overnight.
I already avoid a lot of foods because of migraines. What is the best test out there?
Please don't say the Allergy Diet - I can't wait that long!
Thanks in advance!!!

Corn turns into sugar, and sugar feeds HS....Stay away from high carb veggies, rice, potatoes, and stick with lower carb diet.... do not eat sweets or alot of fruit, same thing will happen..... Keep with fish, turkey, chicken, and eat lots of low carb veggies...... grains tend to make HS worse..... My daughter does low carb paleo and it helps her...she would be a wreck without this diet..... caffeine also makes HS worse...... a good book for you would be the Hidden Plague by Tara Grant...... gives you an idea of what you need to do...Good luck, Meaniebobeanies xo

Thank you! I think you are right on about the sugar.

Your body can have an autoimmune response to just about anything. It may well be the corn. Just because it's organic and fresh doesn't mean your body is ok with it. It would be worth a try to eliminate all corn products from your diet for 3 weeks and see what happens. Good luck!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
