ok so i had my very first surgery yesterday and wow am i in a LOT of pain. it didnt go as bad as i thought it would but the surgery took 2 hours longer than expected. my plastic surgeon cut the sides and top of my groin and between my breast without doing skin graphs. im at the point where it hurts to severe to sit down but i cant stand because the meds he gave me are to strong to stand on. i really dont know what to do, any advise on when the pain starts lowering or any other advise for an ameture. all comments would be greatly appreciated.

Just now saw this. Did he stitch the skin from one side to the other?Or do you have like wide scarring? Sorry about your pain. I am having surgery on September 25th and was told to lay down all week as mine will be on both sides of my anus and one side labia.

I was worried about sitting too but was told to lay down.

For one week solid.

Except for bathroom of course!

i had 1 incision right between my breast and he stretch the skin, it actually looks better in the long run because my breast are more together now. same with my groin area he stretch the skin so it actually looks alot better. i tried laying down for the first few days but the pain was just so severe to were i was moving alot. i see my doc this week to do my butt and thieghs next so im curious about that. but definatly good luck to you, and just fight through the pain because it helps in the end, im only 4 days post op but i think it will look ok, and no my scars are very thin so when healed they probably wont be seen, the one on my chest is barley visable. good luck
