There are several kinds of hernias, but the all happen when pressure pushes an organ (often the intestine) through a weak spot in a muscle face or wall. Treatment for hernias can be no treatment, to medicines to surgery. Modern surgical methods to treat hernias are much improved over older techniques and recovery times are much shorter.
I had a good day yesterday but today Ive been in agony all day. I have some lower abdominal pain too. I just put that down to period pain but I don,t know. Its not specific but just lower down and not like usual period pain. It may be hormones. Does anyuone else get this? I will have to see the doctor again. With it being Easter though I don,t know if I will get one. I don,t know what to do. Im fed up of being in agony.

i had that really bad once, went to the ER, they said i was just backed up :)

it means that sometimes stress, nerves and other things can make your bowles get all noted up and make you not go poop! take a stool softener!

erikakhed it wasn,t my bowels. I think it was period pain and the upper pain was my gastritis.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
