Pain and reflux

I am suffering from gastritis and hiatus hernia. It has got worse recently,Ive got a lot of pain and Im having reflux too. I don,t know how much of it is the gastritis and whats the hiatus hernia. It can feel like somethings stuck as well as intense soreness and discomfort at the top of my stomach. Its hard to eat as that hurts. Im so fed up of stomach trouble. Is anyone else like me? I take 2 Pantoprazoles a day now and Gaviscon. They do very little. Im at my wits end with it. I see the gastro on 9 March but the ph testing didn,t show excess reflux but I get it. Im scared now that they will leave me with this and do nothing. I don,t know what to do.

Try eating small meals, just a handful of food but eat several small meals a day. Only drink water and milk and mostly milk,.

Pantaprozale didnt do a think for me I was on aciphex then after last endo she took me off of it, I now just take over the counter omerperzole 40mg every morning,.

Did they tell you to lose a lb a week if your overweight?

Hi I take lanzaprozole for my hiatus hernia 30mg was taking more upto 3 a day untill the doctor pointed out long term use can make your bones week,i have been on lanzaprozole for 4 yrs now i now also take gaviscon which i find helps so always have a bottle indoors now, as this has no side affects and can take more if necesary..acid reflux is horrid

Hi thanks Im finding that the Pantoprazole does nothing to help me. Ive been on Lansoprazole before. I still get reflux and very frequent pain. I find I can,t eat without pain either. I will try to find another medicine which may help me.
