Oh yes mine is on going. As just back on December 23rd I had my esophagus dilated because I have an on going problem. I also have to be very careful what I eat. So I am always on alert in this area of my health. no fun at all.

Thanks AngelMary. I sometimes don,t know what to do. What do you eat? Im having trouble sticking to a bland diet. Sometimes I have coffee then I suffer but can suffer even if I don,t. I don,t know if its the gastritis or the hernia sometimes. Are you any better for having the dilation? Have the doctors suggested fixing your hiatus hernia? Mine haven,t.

have they checked your gallbladder? i was having the same problems. horrible reflux awful stomach pain. i didnt even have the typical gallbladder symptoms. i just had the reflux and stomach pain. they kept saying i had a small HH that was too small to operate on. but i was looking into it my self and even though they did an ultrasound before and saw little stones that they didnt think would be a problem, i asked them to check again. and went to a specialist. they checked again and they told me it didnt matter the size of the stones. if you have some they could be causing problems. I had my Gallbladder taken out and all of the pain is gone and i can eat agian! i cant believe that I suffered over a year and that was the problem!! maybe you should have yours checked?
