My husband just called me at work and said he needs Cyboxin or Syboxin to help him get through the "mental withdrawal." I work in healthcare and I've never heard of this. Now he's at work and I can't call him. Does he mean Cymbalta or Seruquel?

cyboxin is a "miracle" drug that is supposed to take the withdraw away when opiate users want to quit but you have to be a very qualified doctor to prescribe it and many wont and those that will make ii very expensive. i never heard of it either i had to Google it.

Thanks for the info Ronnie. I made an appointment for my husband to get assessed for treatment and he is willing to go. That makes me very happy because I thought he'd refuse. The problem is that his appointment is one week away and he says he needs Cyboxin to get him through. I also just made him an appointment with his primary doctor, so maybe he can help him. His doctor knows heroin addiction personally, so that really helps us.

its actually spelled suboxone. it is a wonderful drug. it not only helps the addict into recovery by taking the sickness, but it also stops their cravings. from what i've read about it and seen first hand with my fiance, i think its great. its not as addicting as methadone. and don't get you that sick when you stop usage. the only down side to it is that its hard to find a doctor. docs can only have 30 pacients at a time who they can perscribe to. but if its what you really want then don't give up. i believe that it should be easier to get and i wish u luck

it is more for the physical withdrwal. the mental withdrawl is usually best helped by therapy or support groups like NA, for example

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
