For me I didn't just wake up and think 'today feels like a heroin day'. It's a gradual climb to that point. You dabble and push it a bit further...you get brave or comfortable in a space so you step a bit close to the edge. Maybe I will just peek over the edge. What harm, hey? It's just like that. You get closer to it and it seems like less of a big deal. You're surrounded by it at this point and it's just how it is. It stops being scary and just becomes how you are...it just creeps in.
Well, that's how it was for me. This gradual desensitisation to the fear of it. My parents were addicts so I suppose I had a head start in that sense...
And honestly sexy, you will hear every answer and therey out there and no matter what you will never be able to understand or even just a lil understand. You will never know wjy it is what it is for a addict.! Unless you become a heroin addict in the future God forbid., but only an addict is capable of understanding another addict. Sorry.!
