Marijuana works for the pain but aggravates the thumping from swelling if you smoke it. If you can get by that issue say by eating it, it works wonders.
Still check with your doc
I don't have a liver dr. I lost mine when my insurance transitioned over. I wouldn't bother asking an ankle person 'cause I tend to know more than they do about Hep C.
I don't know what state my liver's in. 30 years Hep C. Fibrosure showed between stages 2 and . Fibroscan was stage 1. Was supposed to get another fibroscan but can't get that now either.
I didn't know arnica increases bleeding but I'm still taking it. I need to heal this.
Ibuprofen is why I nearly bled to death early in the game with cirrhosis. 7 icu visits later and No nsaids...there are no signs of bleeding varices anymore. It has been over 2 years now.
You can buy pot that has high CBD content with a low THC %. or
Pot that has been partially fermented like black tea is from fresh green tea will have a higher CBD ratio. High CBD means you will leave the cocoa crispies alone and tv commercials will still suck. But it helps with pain. I cant stand any kind of pot anymore, wish I could...for chronic pain.
Low dose, small quantity opiates are still the best choice for acute pain when there are liver concerns.
Damn opio-phobic doctors would rather give you low dose poison
and tell you it is all right. Say stuff like that and "quality of life" and "needless suffering", "travesty" "cirrhosis"...they will prescribe what is safe and effective.
Sorry, this topic riles me. I wish you the best care!
Doc told me to hold arm completely up in air until blood left wrist,
it quit hurting!!!
Don't know how you can get your leg up like that, but when in pain,
anything is worth a chance!!
Good luck
