Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
When I first started working on this site, back in 07 this place was a ghost town.
Eventually John aka Tattman, and Kphelps aka Kristina, joined in the same month if I'm not mistaken, and we turned this community around, and we eventually became a Tight Knit family.
Of course eventually due to trolls on the board, pushed John to move on, which in a way was a good move on his part, since he has since become the Director of Hep c Awareness in the Reno Nevada county.
As for our Dear Kristina, age 35 passed away in early February of this year, she is dearly missed by us older members.
A lot of her work on Awareness is still on the web, so many sites where you can find valuable information and see how beautiful this person really was.....
As for John aka Tattman, welcome back man.

If anyone is jealous of Tatt & his popularity, be thankful you don't have to wear his shoes! It's what he does for others that makes him popular.
I worked pretty hard from 1997-1999 to try to bring awareness to Hep C (my X hubby had it)....but in 1999 I got side tracked, and went into hibernation.
Believe me when I say I KNOW the struggles you have gone through, I wish you only the best in your endeavors. Bless your heart for all you have done and will continue to do.

You also know the respect and pride I have in you for your work and I remember so well the day KPhelps passed and how hard it was for you to speak to the Legislature...I think she literally passed the torch on to you that day and support you to this day. Your impassion speech had most of the legislature in tears and truly brought your point across.
But hey - what the hell - wasn't I one of your fav suthern beauties too???
