Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

*Predict response to antiviral therapy, differentiate lack of therapeutic response from partial therapeutic response, and demonstrate resolution of infection.
Does that sound right???
On a positive note treatment is going well. Fatigue is strong but it is not a "sick" feeling. I expected to feel much worse than this based on my last treatment 20 years ago. This is nothing like that. But that prior treatment failure looms large in my mind.
Be SURE to get your test results so you can see with your own eyes how powerful Sovaldi is (olysio on board for me too, but Sovaldi is the SERIOUS bug killer).
My other blood stuff is looking better ..my platelets went up from 41-51 and my ALT GGT
