I am geno 3a and still waiting and agitating for tx to be funded someway for me ...I failed soc last year ..
Hope it works ..will be interested to see how the sides are (in any) keep posting ..
Will start tomorrow - 3 pills in the morning and one pill in the evening. Have to take them with food. In the trials, Geno 1b patients were 100% cleared. Glad I don't have 1A, they have to take the Riba also. Will let you know how it goes!

Abbvie (maker of Viekira Pak) has been very nice. They assigned me a nurse that calls and checks on me, and is available to answer any questions. Also issue copay assistance to anyone who asks. I have to take 4 pills a day, but they come in an easy to dispense box that is easy to keep up with. Will check back in next week for more side effect info for future users.
He's 72 yo, geno 1b with cirrhosis and he failed all the previous therapies with Interferon and Riba but he didn't try neither Telaprevir nor Boceprevir.
