Mckenzie, I am so very sorry that this happened to you. I live alone, and some people just shake their heads when they see how I am about locking my doors, and think I'm overly paranoid I guess, but this is why I do it. One can't be too sure about their safety.
We don't know what happened to you, but I must say thank God you are alive. Please let us know how you are doing when you are able. My prayers are with you, dear lady.

I,m from BC and about two years ago, a summer afternoon,I aws napping on my bed.I woke up with a feeling that something wasn't right. Standing in my doorway staring at me was a young man wearing a hoody and socks on his hands. Well,I SCREAMED,"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE !"
Thank god he bolted out of where he came in, a once locked door. It took a very long time before I felt safe alone in my home again.
