I've just got the news.
I'm Undetectable after 4 weeks. (It takes them 8 days to do the test!!)
But I felt tired after I knew this, I said maybe it's the sudden change from being a little worried about low WBC to being extremely happy, or maybe it's just the interferon which I've just taken about 14 hours ago.

I have a question, If I'm UNDIE at week 4 and week 12, is it possible that they reduce my treatment to 24?

Anyway, I'm fine now and I wish you all the same.

I was undie at weeks 4 and 12 and they switched me from 48 to 24 weeks. Was still undie at 16 weeks which is when the doctor told me the good news. I teared up a little. Don't get your hopes up too high, but you're doing great. Have you been treated before? How bad is the damage to your liver?

Cirrohtic liver requires longer treatment. I have stage 4 cirrhosis so they say 48 weeks of treatment but hope they can shorten it. Congrats on the UNDIE (me too in 4).

Hey congratulations!!! Im so excited to hear this, what treatment are you doing incevik or bociprevir or another? Also what Geno are you? I hope you get it shortened to 24weeks and that you are rid of this sneaky little virus FOR GOOD!!! Yipee!!! always makes my day to hear this!!

I've always heard that if a type 1 hepper that has to do 48 weeks of treatment is undie at week 4, could add 36 weeks to that, which would save you from doing 8 weeks of treatment.
But no less that 8, you need to do 40 weeks at least which would be equivalent to 48 since you were undie at 4.
This is what I've always thought... but it's a very important decision since if you were to relapse you might blame yourself for not doing the whole 48.
Then again the whole 48 weeks which I have done was very hard on me and my system, I did stay with long term side effects since being undie over 9 years ago if not 10... brainfog lol

congrats, I was UND at 4 weeks also under 3 Tx. My Dr told me that I will go through 48 weeks because I was relapsed last time with 2 Txs.

Yay!! I'm waiting, had my 4 week blood work done last wednesday, should know by friday. I hope to get the same results as you!!
