Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I think some of you will understand how this happened...
Last night I was making enchiladas. I had opened the refried beans, tomatoes, etc... and had a can of enchilada sauce off to the side for later. As I was rolling up my burritos and placing them in baking dish, It was time to cover them with the enchilada sauce. I took the can to shake it up real good before opening it.
BIG PROBLEM.
I had already opened the can (with one of those can openers that don't leave a sharp edge) and just left the lid on. I don't think I need to tell you what that big shake did to my walls, counters, stove, floor, and me. I just stood there in shock that I did that. I couldn't even move as I was standing in a sea of enchilada sauce. Head to toe.
Then I called my husband to come look. I think he was afraid I was going to melt down over it, so he jumped in real quickly and calmly to help me clean up. Smart man.
I did not even cry. It was too ridiculous to even bother.
Hubby ran to store for another can of sauce, enchiladas were saved... and quite tasty in the end.
My brain is fried on these meds. LOL.

ROFLMAO! To his credit, he did not take a photo and paste on Facebook, did not laugh, and barely let out a smirk. It may have saved his life. ;-)

I'm in there I've put things that go in the fridge in the cabinets and visa versa, I once threw away a brand new phone my son bought they were a pair he left one on the table and into the shoot it went... I felt really bad the same day he purchased it...and I wasn't even on tx. lol hoping to reverse this craziness... we should write a book Hep C mishaps...

Stuff like that happens to me, forgetting stuff, forgetting what the words are for something and some people might not understand why I'm acting that way (e.g. wife). I just hope it does not happen to me at work.

I haven't even started treatment yet and I have this stuff happen all the time. Definitely one of my more prominent symptoms. It's almost like Im dumb sometimes. I will stand there waiting for my brain to catch up to whatever it is Im doing. Lord help us...lol Great post. Made me giggle!
