Okay please don't shoot the messenger as I am only sharing important links to information about everything HCV. Good news and bad. I am sorry I do not write these, make them up. I have no agenda nor do I feel guilty of indulging in "scare tactics".
I do not appreciate being ganged up on by a few folks here for only sharing truth and facts.
Knowledge is power.

YES!! I am compensating! Nadolol beta blocker has been managing my portal hypertension....I have not had a variceal bleed episode since last July!!!
I am happy that day to day mortality stuff is no longer on my plate!!

Iam still waiting for the opportunity to see a real hepatologist some day. My G.I. doctors are lame unless I am bleeding to death.

Four years ago I was eager to take any treatment! Experience & knowledge of recent research causes me to be reticent. I'm glad for all info posted.

I'd like to be positive but there are some dire facts and I'm glad you put them out there. They publicize that just 2 people died from Incivek but I looked it up and just through August of last year 222 people were reported to the FDA as having died from Incivek.
