The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. my husband started his treatments, on second shot now, and 6 pills a day for 8 days now, hep c type 1a.. is this ok, there are no side effects?could this mean that its not working , since he doesnt feel sick? or is this ok, that it could still be working?? thanks for your response!!

i took shot #2 yesterday with two pills a day for 8 days now and i really don't have many sides so i hope that doesn't mean its not working because we don't have the many sides. I have type 1a as well. Hopefully it is just a sign that we are a few of the lucky ones... good luck

Any sides usually come on with time; very little happens in the first few months other than maybe some fatigue and some chills and flu type feelings on shot days.
There are some people who have very few sides through tx, so who knows? Maybe your husband will be lucky and be one of that group! Otherwise, he will notice some of them sort of sneak up on him as time goes on.
just think of a glass filling with water, one drop at a time.

Yea JustBlue, I did not feel much in the begining...I really did not want to add to this because I did not want to upset anyone so I waited until someone that has more education than me responded first...My side started comeing about 2 to 3 mos. into it...Pam

I'm just starting....but so far...so good! I felt really hung over the morning after my first shot, but that has faded....I do feel a little "space cadetish"

I am glad that you asked because I was wondering the same thing...thinking maybe I needed a larger dose or something

I am 1b and felt no sides hardly at all except for a little fatigued until about the 5th month. Had a rough patch through that and now back to very few sides again and I did #35 Mon.

I have been diagnosed with hep c. My liver enzymes are at 47 and my viral load is just over 1 million. I would like to talk to someone that has had a high viral load and has taken interferron and riba virin. I have an office job. I need to know if I am going to be able to work while taking these medications. Joyce

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
