Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Great to give to your boss, or family when you are starting treatment.
God Bless you sweetie and may you always be as beautiful as you are now.
I have no problem telling people that I have Hep C, in fact I often find it important. Something as small as using my tweezers can cause future havoc in somebodys life. I also do not hide how I got it, which was by sharing needles. That was my past (35 years ago) which is a part of my life story. Although it's nothing to boast about, I forgave myself, learned from it, and moved on. I was told by a public health nurse that being that I feel so tired, etc., now, I may feel much better after I start treatment. Ohhh . . . I hope so!
I know I did, I was totally fed up of telling the same old story time after time, so print and give out to those you see often.
