hey! this is supposed to be a support group. ity has tuned into a collection of asmall bio's. not much support. so here goes. i just got bottle #6 of my harvoni today. today also is my bottle 5 pill 1 day.eight weeks 'to go. and what a trip its been since first tx in 2002. but i feel better and i am grateful that it was finally invented. so,(and here is the support). ;hang the heck in there.don't dispair. as long as there is a chance, hope, faith that you get cured. smaile 'and live. take care to all i hope you are all cured soon. get on harv. it is so easy to take.

Notyellow, the format here has changed making it more difficult for some to feel sense of connection. Also, a huge percentage of former members are locked out. I was locked out, kept trying for two months to get back in. Yay congrats, bottle #6, you are nearing the finish line. :)

Hi there,! Congrats! I am getting my script of Harvoni tomorrow in mail and I am terrified. Just signed back into this group since 2008 but the website has really gone downhill. Do you know anything about the history of this site? It used to be a great support

nickey, nickey, nickey there is nothing to be scared of. this pill was great. believe me, after 3 previous attempts that failed. this did the trick. it is now xmas and all meds are done. initial test is non-detectable. next test feb.13, my birthday. so it would be a fiiiine day then if my results are still neg. I am fillesd with optimism and I fell really good. no side effects for me whatsoever. from some of the notes I've read here I am pretty lucky to not have had them.

trissa01, thanks for reading my post. and yes I agree, this site has become less user friendly. but that is progress don't you know. new improved these days means less usable. but we work with what we have. so I hope you have found a way to navigate this ocean. and I remember that I too was locked out for a while. had to register all over again.

Nickey, harvoni was the best treatment, only one I could tolerate. Get a weekly pill reminder so you can know whether you took it or not. It becomes so automatic, you forget. You know those plastic things with day of week? It's important to take each pill, one each day. You'll do fine! Wish you success! I took it for 6 months. I get my last lab in JAN to determine whether I'm "cured". It was my third treatment.
