Hepatitis C Support Group

Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Does anyone know of any Support Groups in the FOrt Worth, Tx area I\'ve looked online Can only find 1.

I found mine, by going online to the AMERICAN LIVER FOUNDATION support groups in my area. Is that what you did? Maybe your local GI\'s office has some info? GOod luck.

rbm made a good call about ALF, Also contact your local Health Dept, They should have all the local and State info you need.

Hey Day, hope the previous link helped. I had to wander around in the Everglades to find resources. The community health center doc told me about ours. Not my pcp doc. He told me to go away.
I learned most everything here on DS.
