The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Just left the doctors office picked up my 4 shots and 30 days of meds. My 1st shot will be tommorw night. Tonight I will go to my HCV group. So I'm open for any free advice. Also I want to thank all of you for being there to answer some of my questions and I will keep yall updated.

I find eating dinner before my shot, helps me. I take my shot about an hour after dinner. Drink a ton of h2o today!!!!

Well all I can say is good luck and may the sides be gentle to you.( I take my last Ribavirin pill tomorrow night .) Drink Tons Of Water and make sure you eat before you take the Ribavirin pills. Get plenty of rest.Listen to what your body tells you . If you are not taking any other Meds , know there are things that can help you if the need happens. We all react so differently to the TX . Good Luck once again and you could not be in a better place as DS has people that have been there done that when it comes to TX and understand what you are going through...

iam 1a also you can do this iam doing my last shot 7/10/09 and 7 days of pills and i will be done with tx .if you need to ask anything just ask me .kenny

good luck to you the first shot is the worst just the dread I guess .I do shot 7 tomorrow only 41 more to go will be thinking of you. my sides have not been to bad hope yours are the same Steve

Good Luck....i am doing my 4th shot tomorrow....the first shot i had a little dizzy feeling...a little achey..a little headache....the next two shots no symptoms at all....i wish the same for you...hey i wish even better for you...no symptoms ever...i have done all my shots so far in the morning....all the best!
