Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I think the doc may be right...it seems the first two weeks are usually the worst for the flu like symptoms...
There are many other side effects that come weeks or months down the road however.
Every day can be different...it is weird and hard to explain. this medicine works so differently with everyone and causes different side to come at different times.
I am in week 9 now and am feeling quite well! The odd headache and a little more frequent bathroom trips with number 2 (LOL)
