Down side of week 6 S&R, here. Still detectable, but trudging the road to happy destiny
great for you and I'm doing pretty good with results as well, my count is down from 4mil to 593, but the side effects are kicking in sooner than I thought they would, and I have 10 weeks to go.
Starting week 7 of solv/riba with lower riba dose. Still detectable at 4 weeks but I'm going the distance so long as I can. Looks possible to me.
had no interest in anything today, could be because my hubby pissed me off last night, walking up a slight 200' hill exhausted me.slept most of the day.
no other side effects
I have some terrible days then the next is fine. Hope it works that way for others, too. A bad day isn't the end of the world. Five weeks to go...solv/riba
I'm a little over 1/2 way through on a 16 week Tx regimen of Sov/Rib I have 31 days left and have been working in a parts store all the way through. My boss is aware of my Tx and lets me slide when he sees me sitting at the top of the stairs trying to catch my breath
Fatigue is off and on but more on than off.
I was having a low HGB issue and am diabetic but red meat and eggs in the morning have brought my HGB back up by three points.
Still breathing through the mouth but not as bad as before.
It is a doable Tx compared to the Peg/Rib that failed me before.
Strangely enough, there are no VL checks on my Tx till two weeks after EOT and then at eight and twelve weeks. Their reasoning is that I don't need the added stress. The GI team is confident that this Tx combo will work.
I hope the numbers prove them right.
I'm half expecting my dr to suggest extending my tx length because : I'm not undie yet, and we had to reduce the riba @ 6 weeks. Too bad I couldn't stay on a 1000mg till 8 weeks but my body doesn't tolerate riba.
I think the folks on 3 way have a better chance - just my opinion - and no, I can't do interferon again.
Just my thoughts here - I'm not an MD or self proclaimed expert. I'm only musing out loud not arguing debating creating discord or negativity etc
I'm on solv/ 600riba for 12wks.
Been up and down with fatigue, dryness is killing me.
Waiting to hear on week 12 viral load, will be at least a week more.
my Week 4 VL was 12, and the girl screwed up and didn't take my
week 8 VL - so I am in the dark here.
I woke up today and just stared at my pills. First time I am having doubts about whether I can continue this tx.
So many invites to go places, but everything is so hard for me, always tired. Would have loved a 12 week tx.
Was in good mood last 2 days, I am sure I wore myself out, so I am speaking with an infected dental implant, exhaustion from overdoing it, and pissed that no one has contacted me on this tx
to see how I am doing - even though I made a call. (not my doc,
I mean the Help Line thru Pharmacy).
I am NOT normally this negative, bad morning. I just want this over, think the antibiotics are drying me out even more and adding nausea. SCARED TO DEATH OF LOSING IMPLANT OR I SHOULD SAY THE 2 TEETH ATT'D TO IT!!
Maybe I should have not posted, but I don't want everyone to think this is a cakewalk all the time AS it is NOT....
just speaking from my heart!!
This is hard on our LOVED ONES that live with us - so I try to go
easy on Hubby, but we all know "I explode pretty easily on this stuff - but getting easier to keep temper in check, NOT THOUGHTS!!
