I saw an oral surgeon Thursday. He did a bx on the side of my tongue. He told me, when I asked, that his trained eye was suspicious. It hurts like a mofo and is very bruised. It's been a pretty tearful couple of days. Now the waiting game for the results. should be back by Thursday.......

Just another hurdle I guess.

awww Beth...... the doctors do a great job at scareing the crap outta us, then make us wait for the results. I'm so sorry for your pain sweetie..... will keep u in my prayers & thoughts. you are a true fighter....... this will be ok..... I remain positive for you!

so sorry beth u're going through this.....do u take vit c? u need at least 1000 mg a day thats what i take...god bless

I agree that waiting for lab results is a most difficult thing to do and no matter how hard I try to put my anxiety "on the back burner", it still simmers away.
I hope that your results come back that it is some sort of benign lesion. It could be all kinds of things that will resolve.

Good luck I hope you get relief soon, I was using probiotics for any cold sores that I got. They seem to heal very fast!!
