On the 8th of January, 08., it made exactly 4 yrs that I was cleared of the hep c virus.
So all of you out there doing treatment, keep your eyes on the prize.
The meds do work if you follow religiously, and are respondants.

Just in case some of you will have moved on by March, I should tell you all that my husband will be 6 yrs cleared of the dragon then.
He was also type 1a.
We both had our last PCR test last year in July, our Gi wrote cured on our copy of the results.
So there is hope out there, keep keepin on

I wish you a long healthy and happy life! The side effects of interferon treatment were just too unbearable for me......but I try to keep my hope alive.
