Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

16 more to go. I must admit, it's getting harder to give myself the shot...silly...it doesn't hurt at all!

I took labs last week and see my doctor on Wednesday to get the score:)

ok Rob, good for you. i know what you mean about the shots. i never once had pain or any bad reactions around the shot site, but i still found it hard to do it. i think over time i knew that i injecting myself with the stuff that was giving me so much misery.

When I go for bloodwork I sign a release and they mail me a copy of the results. I think this is a good idea for anybody in tx this way I am prepared when i go to dr,With any Questions Or if any other dr or dentist wants to see your current labs I just pull a copy out of my folder.Good luck with your appointment On wed. I take sot 30 tomarow with no end in sight.

stuff makes ya feel like a rat on acid rob.not even good acid either, more like brown microdot/ strychnine, with no beer to wash it down,then the cops pull you over and you all run across a field and climb into empty coal-cars and fall 14 feet to the bottom. im tryin to be funny man..

Congrats on getting shot No. 8 behind you already! I know exactly what you mean about not liking the shot process each week. I took shot No. 33 on Friday and my hands shook as bad as they did the day I took my first shot...along with the heart pounding in my ears. :)

I have 33 behind me and 15 to do so we'll finish up within a week of each other. Keep up the great progress.

You're getting there! I know what you mean by not wanting to inject this stuff into your body. My hands shook when I did it because I knew what would follow. Just keep in mind, that this is killing the dragon and giving you another lease on life for a while. It will all be worth it in the end. Please keep us posted. Love and REspect, CAthie
