That's correct, 7 days post the last shot.
So you are at the end of your journey, give us an update on how well the treatment went on, and if you had an undetected load when you were suppose too, I do believe you are type 1, so week 12 PCR was it clear.
I am proud of you, you have been so quiet lately, was wondering how things were going.
When do you plan to go on your next big trip, to help those less fortunate.
I know it's a lot of questions, you don't have to answer me, I just wanted to know that you are fine, and that all went well since we last talked.

I'll write a thread on all the stats of my treatment when I am completely done. In the meantime...My wife and I are leaving for West Africa on 9/3 for two weeks. It is time to get back to our work over there!

Rob, some docs tell their patients to stop the riba on the same day as their last shot but most docs tell their patients to take the riba for 7 days after. So, if you take your shot last shot on Saturday, you would be done with riba after the Friday night dose.

Actually heard back from my doc on this today. WARNING! Don't blindly follow your Dr.s orders...his medical assistant called back with "Dr. said to take all the pills you have left." Well, I have 21 pills left after this Sunday. A couple extra days in each of the shipments...Riba came in a month supply, Interferon in a 4 week...except February, every month of the year has more than 28 days...there for, genius doc just told me to take five more days worth of riba than necessary...after pointing this out it was agreed that seven days after last injection was correct..but I already knew that because of DS!

you really have to be in charge of your own medical care as far as i can tell. i always double check everything, like you're doing. med care is pretty willy nilly.

Yeah Rob! I am so happy to hear that you are reaching the end of tx an ready to step your service back up! This is the thing that scares me as I move towards tx....having to slow down in my service.
