Frist thanks for the support here. Saw the doc today he said all blood work looked good. He also said in 15 years of treating paitents i was the frist 2b pt he has treated to relaspe. He said to come back in a year and see how things look. He didnt want to start any new tx at this time. Which is fine with me since i feel great i dont either.. There is some new stuff coming out for 2-3 that really works he said and should be out in a year or so. I guess still having the bug will keep me honest thanks again peace.

hi dragonars...thanks for letting us know what the doctor said. that's great that you have a plan! and when you do treatment again the meds will be even better! don't disappear on us! you gotta hang out and cheer all the new people on!

I was shocked myself to hear that you didn't clear with 2b. But keep your head up. I'm glad you feel good. I hope I get there soon. Keep that positive attitude and stay here with us.

I think this sounds like good news for you given the fact that you're one of the rare Genotype 2's to relapse. I think it sounds like your doc has a good plan and as long as you fell good about it, and feel good, I would follow his advice. Best of luck to you and I pray you continue to feel well.

Right here with ya dragon, 2b relapse, my G.I. said the same thing, "don't come back for a year or two till the new stuff is out" Kind of felt like I was just dumped at the curb after a good drunken binge....without the fun part..!! lol
I guess the next thing we have to do is get the il28 (

thing done to see what NEW tx will work for us.
I plan on living liver friendly, food wise, and no ILLEGAL street drugs or drinking but I sure wont hesitate to get out and start living like I stole it. For all I know, we probably did steal a LITTLE time from the reaper..eh?

Let's steal a little more time from the reaper. I feel I am doing it by living the 'cleaner' life. I haven't ate this healthy with all the greens etc since pregnancy. Stealing time, stealing time and you guys are enablers for me stealing time from the reaper.

Sitting tight here too for non peg/riba tx in clinical trials now. I can't do that stuff again. Damn near killed me!
Rest up and wait for kinder, better 2b Rx.

when did you complete tx? when did you relapse?
So sorry - I too am 2b and have 4 shots left. Do you have cirrhosis? My doc said damaged livers sometimes won't clear virus.
