it sounds crazy but LouAna Coconut(the stuff you cook with) oil is a great moisturizer. It is cheap and there aren't any extra ingrediants to irritate or burn. I use it after a shower when I remember anyhow. Hope you get the answers you need.

Apparently most any form of immune suppression (regardless of source) can trigger psoriasis - or make it worse. Even yeast infection - a fairly common event whenever the liver is compromised - can make psoriasis flare up. Hopefully it will subside, or at least somewhat, as your body 'adjusts' to the treatment drugs. I've found the rx Clobetasol cream or lotion (their ointment is just too darned greasy) to be of some help - and I'm sure that some others here w/more experience will have other suggestions for you -

im in week 11 of treatment and have a rash. Its all over my body, but much worse on my hands and neck. thanks for the post. was wondering if I had to endure for rest of treatment too.

I had psoriasis before starting treatment. I had a very bad flare up while I was on treatment to the point they wanted me to stop.(I didn't but did stop early) I to am looking for stuff to manage it but natural stuff. I find the creams (3 of them) are costly and don't do much for me. As I understand it there is no cure but can be managed.

oddly, the best thing that worked for my psoriasis was diflucan (known generically as flucanizole) - it's a rx antifungal that attacked and suppressed the yeast infection, and the psoriasis immediately and greatly improved. however diflucan is tough on the liver - so it becomes yet another all-too-familiar catch-22 (....as if there weren't already enough catch-22s with liver disease)!!
