Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

So, I'm doing tx regardless, I don't have a choice. I start tx on Thursday. If it indeed is a consequence of the virus, hopefully it will clear up once I'm done with tx.
The psoriasis on my scalp did get worse a few times but went back to "normal" (for me). I also have area on the back of my hand, elbows, and behind my ears that will flare up occasionally but nothing too bad... at least not as bad as the riba-rash that many people describe having. I have a steroid ointment and some otc medicated lotion that I use occasionally. Talk to your dr about it. It shouldn't be an issue...just something the dr may want to keep an eye on.
