Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
So what is it with the politics involved with "trial sites"
Why don't they just open them up ? Everyone wants a chance at a trial but I for one don't want to have to move to another state just to get into one.
I check http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/home daily but never find anything happening in Oregon.
I imagine there needs to be a standardization of the data collected and maybe there would be an issue of conflict as to the accuracy but what the hell, there is only one S.A.T. test for education standards so how hard would it be to standardize the reporting criteria for tials ?

@ kramer your are correct as to matching stages....and we wait.
Like you too though, I've decided to let go of the every day worry routine and just continue living life as best as I can and accept that the cure will come in time. I try not to let the wait consume my identity.
