The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I've been in my own little world the last two days. Looks like some of us have been busy here on DS. I started my tx Thursday. I really have had no side effects to speak of yet. I'm waiting for the sky to fall.
I just thought I'd peek in and see what everyone is up to. I noticed almost all of my favorite peeps are online right now. Tell me what you've been up to.

I have been off treatment for a few months and last week I actually felt like a healthy human being again. There is life after treatment.

I am glad that you are doing well at this point. My first shot was the worst.

Sorry this happened at your start as that was not fair. You're going to do great though. You are a very sweet, strong person who has been a friend to many. You will get that back in spades.

Glad your first shot went well. Mine did in the first treatment but not in the latest. Just goes to show that you never know what is next. Here's to hoping you are barely affected at all, but regardless, you have all of us!
