fossil as legitimate! They did so 3 months after the published admission.

Dinosaurs? Absolutely. A very old earth? Most likely.

Evidence in the fossil record of "transitional" species.... NONE.
They ("hundreds") have all been either extrapolated, hypothesized or down right fabricated.

Even Darwin burned a chapter in his book apologizing for there being no physical proof in the fossil record of his theory.

Now, with over 200 million fossils (excluding plant & fungus)
We have yet to answer Darwin's apology.

I couldnt believe it....they showcase a bird/dinosaur transition as one of the most popular fossils ever found....

Too bad the smithsonian had the fossil ct scanned by an independent company. It is a mirror image of only one side of the fossil...2 layers of the same rock, opened like a book to appear as a fully formed fossil.
The fossil stays in Berlin...it dont tour the smithy!

My question is...why does mankind want to be evolved from animals so darned bad?? It still wont kill God or the knowledge of good and evil.
Animals do not know good from evil unless we teach it to them.

I think mankind is looking for a more plausible and feasible explanation than Creationism. Adam & Eve is mythology. Wouldn't we all have 3 heads if we come from that due to inbreeding? Feathered heads maybe?

But yes, God could've easily created an Evolution process. It doesn't make or break anything regarding the existence of a Deity to the critical thinker.

I say we live in the matrix that exists in a molecule on a giant silicone being that is unaware of its Flying Spaghetti God. This God sits in a bowl next to many other bowls of unrecognizable delights. I believe this to be true. It's amazing!

You could never come to that without the biblical account.

Because Man is all over that Bible Levi and I believe that that is exactly what Man has done with God. While I believe there is truth to the Bible I also believe there is much bending and shaping and omission and addition to create the God and the code of their fancy. Those are my beliefs and feelings about it anyway.

I believe that God is Love, that God is within us all, that God is good and that God is truth. I believe that a fairly young child exposed to God can tell us what God is all about and how we should act to be God-like.

I actually believe most of what you said. And the Bible supports it.

"Man being all over the bible" is what makes the Bible truly remarkable and unlike other books. I encourage you to find this out for yourself.

The dead sea scrolls were discovered in 1947 AD. All the old testament except for "Esther" was found there. Paleographic Graders all assumed that grievous errors would be found when compared to our modern "hacked texts".
These scrolls date back to 250 BC (proved).

Guess what??? No meaningful changes. Period. A handful of single letters that didnt alter the meaning or context.

As historical literature goes, this is very amazing.
These are scientific facts about the Bible. Not opinions.

So the fact that this collection of books survived intact through so many revisions, languages and copies...is astounding.

I'm not a Bible expert and I doubt I'll ever try to read it again. Tried many times as a kid and just could not get through more than a few pages. Certainly I've sat in church a gazillion times and have had many passages read for sermonizing and study. Anyway, it would give me comfort for certain in the presence of evil or if I was in the room where an exorcism was going on but that's about it. I'm glad it's in my hotel rooms just in case. But reading it would do little to alter (altar ;-) my faith already. People get to choose what and how they want to believe. Faith in the unknown. It seems that we do not get hard, scientific proof of God and the afterlife for the most part in our current existence, which is fine. Ppl believe in differing Gods all over this planet including 2 ppl sitting next to each other in the same pew. My child comment above resonates with me. I know what is right and wrong and his to treat and regard others and God. I am far from perfect (newsflash) but I do okay.
