What a ride. You are one of the first to finish Harvoni in the real world & in April you will have your SVR results. Time for the liver to start rejoicing. Let us know how you feel as Harvoni exits your system. It's a potent drug & I'm curious as to what life is going to be like post tx meds. Congrats! So happy 4 you happyharvoni. Yes, HH, you surely can say CURE rate. It's real; Harvoni is the best. I did Sovaldi & Olysio, before Harvoni was FDA approved and was blessed with my SVR24 results a couple months ago. Congrats!

thank you everyone. took the last one today. I did do a happy dance in the mirror! I was f0-f1 fibrosis, with vl of 2.3 mil. yes I am interested to see how I feel in a few weeks as well. didn't have any real side effects besides feeling great, until about 7 weeks. then I had a few headaches, and toward the end started feeling tired again. however through the holidays I ate so much junk , its no wonder I felt crappy (I was stressing). I went back on mostly plant based diet this week, hope to feel like I did after the first on treatment again soon.

That is cool...the last pill. today in a few hours will be pill #49 and marks the 7th week of 12. Thanks for your input 'happyharvoni'..

I am very excited for you!!! I am finishing four weeks out of twelve. Do you still have the chocolate cravings. I have been struggling with food cravings. I am anxious to hear how you feel after treatment. Wishing you all the best!!!

i put a stop to the chocolate. I really just said no more. I feel better now. had a good week of mostly plant based food. what I try to do is have a lot of food around the house I can always eat...salad, hummus and carrots/celery, yogurt (still dairy but only organic) , cereal, oatmeal, veggies (string beans, broccoli, cabbage) if things get desperate, whole grain macaroni...and I just keep eating something from the list until I am for sure full. also no processed sugar, just honey. its a constant battle...its not bad to give in for a while, but eventually you have to beat the battle with your cravings.

Please if I could ask; How did you feel from wk-7 thru wk-12? And how are you feeling in your 'post-harvoni-stage' presently?
As it were it seems the side effects (or lack of for the most part) in our cases correspondent to the 7-wk stage.
Metaphorically speaking It is good to be with people in-arms on this new battle field. It seems it would be good to have fox-holes assigned to people with similar side-effects armed with their smooth-pointed mauve-colored pills with that 'GSI' stamp.

i didn't have one bad side effect until week 7, then i got a headache. had to take Tylenol. weeks 9-11 were the Christmas timeframe so i ate like crazy, i have to attribute crappy eating to my starting to feel sluggish. Maybe i was feeling fatigue as i side effect. week 12 also felt sluggish but ate better.. toward the end headaches were more frequent although not unbearable or long lasting. my first pill free day was Saturday, i haven't had a headache, however Saturday, i did take a nap. but i had a very stressful week prior at work.....week 1 was amazing as someone said you feel the virus leaving your body, it was truly an amazing experience.
